AI and Gen Z (oh my)

Recently, I’ve been paying more attention to ‘what’s next’ for the world of marketing and branding. Which means I spend a lot of time thinking about Gen Z and robots. Specifically, AI. Two pretty terrifying concepts, perhaps, at first.

Recently, at the Ad Age Gen Z summit, I was lucky enough to sit down next to Wendy Wang Mertensmeyer. Wendy is on the cutting edge of AI research with her colleagues at IDEO. Their research and design approach is smart and necessary as we balance how to bring AI into our workplaces and creative spaces.

Talking to Wendy about her research is one of many examples that prove to me that ‘what’s next’ doesn’t have to be frightening. The next generation and their tools, AI included, are innovative and fascinating. I can’t wait to learn more.
